Air Freight Clerk (Hybrid)

For our team we are looking for an Air Freight Clerk in Frankfurt-Airport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order processing of air freight export shipments, including the preparation of all documents required for our charter flights
• Verification of shipment data, cargo acceptance and storage processes at the airport
• Confirmation of the export presentation data and transmission to customs
• Contact person for customers in day-to-day business regarding shipping issues
• Ensuring compliance with air cargo security
• Supervision and support of aircraft handling
• AWB notification of shipments for our colleagues abroad
• Processing of returns and import shipments

Your profile:

• Professional experience in handling air cargo shipments and charter flights
• Completed commercial training, in the field of forwarding / logistics is desirable
• Additional qualification in customs or professional experience in the field of customs clearance
• Knowledge of ATLAS/ZABIS and dangerous goods handling (PK6) desirable
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 365 and transportation management systems
• Structured and independent way of working, also from home office
• Assertiveness, ability to work in a team and enthusiasm
• Very good command of written and spoken English
• High level of commitment, dedication and ability to work under pressure
