Carousel announces plans to extend air line-haul from Northern Germany
Plans for a new service to run from Weeze, into the UK, follow-on from the success of Carousel’s existing service which already runs daily from Frankfurt-Baden Airpark. These plans respond to increasing demand from clients and the wider market for more reliable end-to-end logistics solutions, particularly for critical parts. The new route is expected to come on stream from Summer 2017.
About the service
The extension of Carousel’s air line haul will play an important part in further developing the company’s By:NIGHT service option. Strategically located, it will offer a faster, more efficient logistics solution, capturing key industrial locations in Northern Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium.
Offering tremendous capability and advantages to those operating in these regions, the benefits include extended cut off times for collection, proven reliability, as well a direct link into Carousel’s trusted network for a complete end to end logistics solution, including final mile. Carousel’s bespoke technology also offers clients more control and visibility at any given point in the supply chain.
Commenting on the announcement, Graham Martin CEO at Carousel said: “Since launching our service from Frankfurt-Baden we have demonstrated tremendous operational stability and maintained a reliable service unlike any other provider on the market. We are delighted to announce our plans to extend our air line-haul today; our future development plans are a testament to our commitment to delivering service excellence and also responding to industry demand for a better logistics solution.”
